Top 5 tips for using the Library

  1. Use your Student Card
    • It’s your library card.
    • Use it to sign out books, journals, reserve materials, and more!
    • It’s your printing and photocopying card.
  2. Explore the Library’s spaces
    • The Library has hundreds of study spots. Choose from study carrels, tables, and individual & group rooms!
    • Use our computers or connect to the Library’s Wi-Fi using your own device.
    • Use the printers, photocopiers, etc. in our locations.
  3. Sign up for a library workshop
    • Save yourself time and aggravation during the assignment crunch.
    • Attend a Library Training Workshop to learn the basics of university-level library research.
  4. Check out the Library’s Resources by department guides
    • Resources by department direct you to the most important books and article databases in your subject area.
    • Find subject-specific resources & reference guides
  5. Ask a librarian
    • Get research help via Ask-Librarian: e-mail, phone, or in person.
    • Contact your Subject Librarian for a one-on-one research help appointment.
